To get to the top of Jakobshorn you need to take 2 cable cars - the first to Ischalp where there is a restaurant and walks, and the second to the peak, a total of 1000m. The cable car journey gives great scenic views over the mountain ranges around Davos. At the peak, there is a cafe and a panorama restaurant that is only opened in winter. You can start your hike downhill from the top to Ischalp or, if you are keen and strong, all the way back down to Davos.

Milkshakes at Jakobshorn - what a view!
We decided to walk the 6km down from Jakobshorn to Ischap, the middle cable car station. It was steep and downhill all the way. Our sore and shaky legs! Ouch!
Finally made it down to Ischalp, just in time to get the last cable car for the day.
