Scenic Train Ride to Davos

We left Zurich around mid morning catching an interurban train to Landquart and then the Rhatische Bahn to Davos. The trip from Zurich was picturesque with stunning lake views that changed to glacial mountain ranges. The water in the mountain lakes was a pale blue and the rivers full of rapids. Traditional wooden Swiss chalets with window flower boxes dotted the mountainside with snow capped peaks in the background.
