Gothic splendour in the centre of Vienna

St Stephen's Cathedral is located in the middle of the old town o Vienna. It is in a square surrounded by buildings housing souvenir shops and cafes. St Stephen's is a tourist magnet drawing huge crowds into its square. The cathedral is highly ornate in an International Gothic style, both inside and outside. Men dressed in Mozart costumes were advertising information for a concert later that night.

As an alternative to classic art, this sculpture was found on a bridge on Langstrasse on the way back to our hotel. It was one of four, with each one located at either ends of the bridge.
